The 1960s San Francisco poster art scene was entirely a boy’s club until artist Bonnie Maclean hit the scene. Her short stint in hand painting dazzling, psychedelic posters for The Fillmore earned her a place among the greats, coined the “big five” male poster artists. We’d like to thank her for opening avenues for female creatives everywhere.
